Everything you need to know about SkyMaint's aviation consultancy, coaching & mentorship, and online LMS learning services.

SkyMaint Engineering Centre delivers three core aviation services from our base in Nairobi, Kenya. We provide aviation consultancy for airlines, operators, and regulatory authorities; CAA-compliant aircraft maintenance and repair at our facility and on-site across East Africa; and EASA Part 66 and CAA AML knowledge module training available through aviation coaching and mentorship programmes — delivered in our Nairobi classroom and through our secure online LMS portal. All services are carried out by EASA Part 66 and CAA AML qualified engineers to international regulatory standards.

Our facility is based at Imara Mall, Mombasa Road, Nairobi, Kenya. We are open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For aircraft maintenance and consultancy engagements, we also deploy on-site to your location anywhere in Kenya and across the wider East African region — so proximity to Nairobi is not a barrier to accessing our services. For online LMS learning, students anywhere in East Africa can access all module content 24/7 through our secure portal. You can reach us by phone on +254 727 981 428 or by email at info@skymaintengineering.com.

Yes. All maintenance tasks and coaching and mentorship programmes at SkyMaint are delivered by engineers holding active CAA Aircraft Maintenance Licences and EASA Part 66 qualifications. We do not use unlicensed personnel for any certifiable maintenance, consultancy, or knowledge module delivery task. This dual qualification means our team operates to both the Kenyan regulatory standard and the internationally recognised European Aviation Safety Agency framework — giving our clients and students full confidence in every engagement.

Both options are available. We carry out maintenance and coaching work at our Nairobi facility at Imara Mall, Mombasa Road, and we also deploy licensed maintenance and mentorship teams directly to your airfield or location anywhere in Kenya and East Africa. For AOG — aircraft on ground — situations, on-site deployment is handled as a priority. Contact us on +254 727 981 428 and our team will confirm availability and mobilise as quickly as possible.

Our aviation consultancy covers regulatory compliance advisory, airworthiness management support, technical documentation and records management, Safety Management System development, operator and authority liaison, and AOC application support. We work with commercial airlines, charter operators, private aircraft owners, approved maintenance organisations, and government aviation authorities. If your operation involves aircraft and regulatory obligations in Kenya or East Africa, our consultancy team can assess your situation and provide a clear, practical engagement plan.

Yes. Pre-audit consultancy is one of the most common engagements we undertake. Our team conducts a thorough review of your continuing airworthiness documentation, maintenance records, safety management framework, and operational procedures — identifying gaps against current CAA regulatory requirements. We then work alongside your team to close every finding before the inspection date. Operators who engage us ahead of audits consistently achieve cleaner outcomes than those who wait for the regulator to identify issues first.

Our aviation coaching and mentorship programmes cover EASA Part 66 knowledge module preparation for licence categories A, B1, B2, and C, and CAA AML knowledge module coaching for categories B1 and B2. All theoretical content is delivered in partnership with Aviotrace Swiss SA — an EASA Part 147 Approved Maintenance Training Organisation based in Switzerland. For practical on-the-job training and logbook hours, our partnership with Air Serv Kenya — a CAA-approved MRO operating since 1997 — gives students real hangar mentorship on actual aircraft. Coaching and mentorship is available in our Nairobi classroom or online through our LMS portal.

Yes. Our LearnDash-powered LMS portal gives you full access to all enrolled module content from anywhere in East Africa — or anywhere in the world — on any device, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All online LMS content is secured on the platform with no downloads permitted and personal access only. Monthly subscriptions mean you can study at your own pace without committing to a fixed classroom schedule. Visit our shop at skymaintengineering.com to browse available modules and subscribe today.

The time required varies by module, licence category, and the amount of time you dedicate to study each week. Some foundational modules can be completed within a few weeks of consistent online study, while more technically complex subjects require longer. Our LMS portal tracks your progress through each module in real time so you always know exactly where you stand. Contact our coaching and mentorship team for a personalised study timeline based on your licence category and weekly availability.

For consultancy and coaching and mentorship engagements, call us on +254 727 981 428 or email info@skymaintengineering.com. We will schedule an initial consultation, confirm the scope of work, and provide a clear proposal before any engagement begins. For online LMS learning, visit the shop section of our website at skymaintengineering.com to browse available modules and enrol directly through the LMS portal. We respond to all enquiries within one business day.
